We are a class of 10 and 11 year old students, based in Nelson; New Zealand. WE ARE LEARNING TO use our blog to express our learning in a creative and innovative way.

School trip

On Wednesday we went to Fashion Island. We learnt about NZ Sign Langauge. We did a contest about using NZ sign lanuage and Keely won! The butterflies on peoples faces represent NZ Sign langauge. The reason they use this butterfly sign is because butterflies are deaf and are special and beautiful. We think everyone should learn NZ Sign langauge . By Keely and Elli
